Charley Hull Wins Rose Ladies Series Order of Merit
The Rose Ladies Series was a welcome showcase for women's golf during this most unique of seasons, sponsored by Justin & Kate Rose, providing an opportunity for players to compete and maintain sharpness, which has been a considered a roaring success, something that made the premature curtailing of the Grand Final at Wentworth all the more disappointing.
Flames emerged within Chobham Common nearby the iconic venue on Friday, the searing temperatures and winds carrying the fire to the perimeter of the West Course, ultimately leading to the event being concluded early, despite the best efforts of organisers to find an alternative date, bringing the curtain down on a wonderful series of events ahead of the LET's return at the Ladies Scottish Open, with the Women's Open at Royal Troon to follow next week.
Wow...2020 continues to be a crazy rookie year! Delighted to have won the @RoseLadiesGolf Grand Final. I can’t thank @JustinRose99 @Kate_rose99 @Lizyounggolf enough for giving us this opportunity to compete!! Well done Wentworth for getting everyone out safely! pic.twitter.com/JvlyEjWln4

The three-day grand final followed seven one-day tournaments that were held throughout in England in June and July, with Alice Hewson declared the winner of the finale, earning £10,000, with the 22-year-old - who won her first professional start at the South African Ladies Open earlier in the year - having led going into the final round.
However, it was Solheim Cup stalwart Charley Hull who secured the Order of Merit, receiving a £20,000 first prize from American Golf, with the 24-year-old playing in all eight events, including claiming a victory in the inaugural tournament at Brokenhurst Manor.
The Rose Ladies Series has been a credit to all who made it possible, the venues it visited, and the players who provided the drama, keeping women's golf at the forefront ahead of the big resumption of play on the Ladies European Tour in Scotland.
