Oliver Wilson Secures TP Tour Victory at Walton Heath
Former Dunhill Links champion Oliver Wilson defeated a strong field at the revered Walton Health Golf Club to claim victory on the TP Tour, ultimately defeating European Tour star Jordan Smith in a playoff.
Also competing were the likes of Simon Khan, Richard McEvoy, David Howell, Justin Walters, and Richard Bland, alongside numerous other European, Challenge and TP Tour winners, making this a formidable and highly competitive event.
Smith and 2008 Ryder Cup player Wilson were tied at the summit after shooting five-under 67s on the Old Course, requiring extra holes to determine the outcome.
Having each bogeyed the first playoff hole, the 39-year-old Wilson rolled in a five-footer on the next to secure a memorable triumph.
