Duca Del Cosma Masters White Golf Shoe Review

Duca Del Cosma has established a reputation as a brand which offers stylish and luxurious garments which work both on and off the golf course. Often innovative and a touch rebellious, the clothing range is constructed of the very highest quality materials and the Italian design shines through in the appearance. The Shoes On Test

The Masters White are like all pairs of Duca Del Cosma shoes; constructed from the best possible materials to offer maximum performance benefits and a great look. These are however, the brand’s first shoes to feature spikes, making them a more versatile option for all seasons. Stylish, sleek and very comfortable, the appearance and feel of the shoes is reassuringly robust.

Looks

Duca Del Cosma has a reputation for style and sophistication. The Masters White manage to achieve an enviable balance of subtlety and flair, with the contrast of the predominantly white shoe which is lit up by the orange Duca logo. The two different coloured pairs of waxed laces allow customisation with either the low key white or vibrant orange to choose from. We opted for the latter which worked very well with the existing branding on the shoe and looked fantastic. Duca also offer the same shoe in blue offering further palette options.

Feel

Having worn Duca Del Cosma shoes previously, we knew to expect the supple cushioned effect of the memory foam insole. Nappa leather with a classy embossed body hugs the shape of the foot exceptionally well. The Masters White are also fitted with the A6 spiked outsole which offers tread to ensure maximum stability in all conditions. The shoes felt fantastic worn straight out of the box for 18 holes.

Having worn the shoes for a handful of games, the world went into lockdown during the COVID-19 situation. When the game was safely allowed to continue, we made an audible “ahhh” sound when slipping these on in the car park before the first round back. They melded to our feet like a luxurious pair of velvet slippers!

Performance

As well as looking great, the grip is excellent in all conditions. We found the shoes to be warm in the colder months but breathable on hot days. The Masters White are robust enough to cope with anything the British weather can throw at them whilst looking effortlessly smart and trendy.

Pros

Superb materials, design and looks make this a performance shoe capable of delivering an extremely comfortable round no matter what conditions prevail.

Cons

The quality of the materials is unquestionable, but as a result these won’t be the cheapest pair of shoes available.

Bottom Line

The Masters White are a high-quality piece of technical sporting apparel. Made from the very best materials and styled to look fantastic, they slot effortlessly into the impressive Duca range which is gaining a formidable reputation for quality and style.
