Titleist Vokey SM8 Wedges Review

By: Golfshake Editor | Wed 11 Mar 2020

First appearing on tour at the RSM Classic last year, Titleist's new SM8 Wedges have now made their way onto the market, engineered by the revered Bob Vokey, designed to deliver greater performance and better feel.

The Progressive CG design philosophy aligns the centre of gravity with the impact position – lower in the low lofts, higher in the high lofts – for better trajectory and distance control. SM8 takes the next leap, pushing the CG forward while maintaining the vertical CG position to create a more consistent, better-feeling strike.

Could these make a difference to your game? PGA Professional and Golfshake Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall has tested each of the three grinds and finishes at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, describing and showcasing what you could expect from adding the new wedges to your bag.
