Looks
The Aim L10V has a smart, high quality appearance. The small profile and ergonomically designed curves make it an attractive and appealing unit. A beautifully simple device, the options are all easy to see, understand and toggle to your liking.
Feel
High quality materials have been used which give the Aim L10V a premium feel. Tough rubber makes the unit easy to grab, grip and position. The unit feels robust and is well protected whilst on the bag by the cushioned carry case which is included in the box. It is also compact enough to slide into the pocket of a windproof jacket.
Performance
Rangefinders should be simple and easy to use, giving distances quickly and efficiently thereby aiding fast play. That is exactly what the Aim L10V delivers. With the very minimum of fuss, the laser easily picks up targets, displaying incredibly accurate yardages at the press of a button. The voice option can also play this out loud, an interesting feature which can help in a team game. Our regular three ball came to know the system by the name of “Carol”, as we would ask her for one large and two small numbers!
The smart carry case comes with a karabiner to easily latch onto any golf bag. The unit is secured inside the case by a zip, though a convenient elastic loop can be used to speed up access whilst on the course.
Verdict
Pros
The Aim L10V has been exquisitely designed and made, the unit looks and feels fantastic. A compact and ergonomic rangefinder, it is light and simple enough to be used with one hand, or both to add further stability.
Cons
Nothing. This is genuinely a superb product which comes with everything you need straight out of the box.
The Bottom Line
An impressively simple and robust unit, the quick start guide isn’t really necessary given the clear and straightforward operating buttons. This is a premium product which does exactly what it says on the tin. Would also make for a super gift.
