Golfshake Members Report on Callaway Iron Fitting Progress

Earlier this season, we took a trio of keen Golfshake members across three handicap categories to experience a custom fitting with Mike Clark at the Callaway European Performance Centre, matching our golfers with a new set of irons tailored to their specific techniques and requirements, which began an exciting journey to improve their iron play.

They left Callaway hopeful and expectant. But what about the progress? This is the next chapter of their story. 

It was an illuminating for each of them, enjoying a rare opportunity to gain a depth of knowledge into their own games, in addition to a greater understanding of the technology behind a fitting and the creation of advanced sets of irons.

Now, eight weeks later, we gathered them together at The Belfry to take on the iconic Brabazon Course and discover what difference these new irons have already made to their games during the summer. Kevin, a 24 handicap golfer was fitted with a set of Rogue irons, while 17-handicapper Andy was paired with the new Apex, as was six-handicap player Ben.
