TaylorMade M6 Fairway Wood Review
TaylorMade has recently launched its new M6 fairway wood, including the addition of Twist Face Technology, a re-engineered Speed Pocket and a lower centre of gravity, which have all been included to promote greater ball speeds and playability.
Golfshake's PGA Professional and Equipment Expert Ryan Rastall was recently at the spectacular Celebration Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, and had the opportunity to test the new club and see how it performs, noting the technology enhancements and talking through what you can expect from it.
Ryan noted: "Having hit this, the flight was higher than I would expect from my fairway wood, but that's what's I was expecting anyway. But felt really solid off the face, really good, sounds a bit different to the M5, with it being steel rather than titanium. I prefer the look, but really loved it hitting it, was so easy to get the ball up in the air, and I think that's really what it's designed to do, to help the majority of golfers out there who struggle to flight fairway woods to get the ball up in the air and get some flight and proper trajectory on it.
