Golfshake Members Reflect on Ultimate Golf Trip to St Andrews
Back in May, three lucky Golfshake Members joined us to embark on their own 'Golfing Odyssey' to the Home of Golf, St Andrews, in association with Golfshake and Odyssey Golf, where they enjoyed a memorable experience across three days that included spectacular accommodation, several rounds of golf, and a putting masterclass and putter fitting with the St Andrews Links Academy.
During their time in Scotland, Pete Wells, Colin Crooke and Peter Hewitt stayed and played at Fairmont St Andrews, walking the fairways of the Torrance and Kittocks, taking on the Gong Challenge, sampled an evening in the famous town, most notably the Jigger Inn, and spent that valuable time with Director of Instruction Steve North, who provided a series of lessons in addition to overseeing a putter fitting with Odyssey, two activities that have had striking results on their stats and performance levels during the subsequent months, eventually completing their Golfing Odyssey by playing golf on the revered New Course at St Andrews, before testing their newfound putting confidence on the legendary Himalayas, in the shadow of the Old Course.
