Stewart Golf launch Waterproof Stand Bag

By: Darren Ramowski | Wed 04 Nov 2009

Press Release

Stewart Golf Waterproof StandbagPremium UK golf brand Stewart Golf has announced the launch of an innovative new lightweight, fully waterproof stand bag. The stand bag is part of the new Stewart Golf Collection which also includes a clever rain cover, shoe bag & Boston bag.

Weighing in at less than 3kg, the waterproof stand bag is designed for the serious golfer who plans to play throughout the winter come rain or shine.

As you may expect, Stewart Golf have made sure that the product has a number of innovative design points. The bag features fully taped seams and a large double-padded back support for extra comfort. Other features include:

•    Lightweight nylon fabric with waterproof coating.
•    Matching rain hood with taped seams and waterproof zip.
•    Dual shoulder straps with 4 way mounting for balance.
•    Top-mounted stand attachment for increased durability and stability.
•    Pockets include sunglasses holder, phone holder, water bottle pouch and velour-lined valuables pocket.
•    Towel loop, umbrella holder & Velcro glove patch.

Stewart Golf MD, Mark Stewart said, “A survey of our customers revealed that they still play between two and three rounds of golf through the winter, regardless of the weather. Many courses impose trolley bans on their members in the winter, so a really lightweight, fully waterproof golf bag is an essential piece of equipment. If our summer has been anything to go by, this may be a product to keep on standby 12 months a year!

“We are also launching three other items along with the waterproof stand bag. Our shoe bag, boston bag and rain cover have all been given the same ‘Stewart Golf’ treatment, so all have some great design features, and all carry only very subtle branding.”
