The Brabazon 10th Hole Challenge at The Belfry
The 10th on the Brabazon Course at The Belfry was made iconic during the four Ryder Cups that the resort hosted, and it has remained a perennial favourite with golfers during the years since. It's a 'risk and reward' par four that invites you to take on the green from the tee, which is protected by water, while more conservative minded players will take the safe line onto the fairway, leaving a short approach into the pin.
During the 1985 Ryder Cup, both Seve Ballesteros and Sam Torrance famously took on the aggressive shot and were successful as Europe completed a historic victory, the first United States loss since 1957.
Among the most popular venues with Golfshake Members, The Belfry is Highly Recommended. There are several features on the website that provide an insight behind the resort and why it is so warmly regarded by visiting golfers.
