Walton Heath's David Boote Secures First Pro Title on TP Tour
Walton Heath's David Boote shot a course record equalling 64 to secure his maiden professional victory at Langley Park on the TP Tour.
David, a student of the famous Stanford University in California, had a very successful amateur career that included a Walker Cup appearance, and a Faldo Series win as a junior, before turning Pro in 2017
The field at Langley Park included former European Tour regulars, Gary Evans, Mike Mclean, and Daniel Gaunt, with many former TP Tour winners.
David secured the £1,000 first prize with a birdie on the par 3 18th hole, with no bogeys on his card it was a fine performance, which matched the pro course record set last year in the TP Tour event.
Delighted to get the W today. Big thanks to Paul and the rest of the @tptourgolf team for putting on another great event! @LangleyParkGC #firstprowin #courserecord64 pic.twitter.com/YIx5nLsqn1
