The Most Ridiculously Long Putts Holed on Camera

By: Golfshake Editor | Thu 21 Jun 2018

Every golfer has unexpectedly holed a putt from a ridiculously long distance. It’s one of those moments that help to make this game magical, encouraging you to return next time. But what is the longest made? According to the Guinness World Records, that honour belongs to the guys of Australian YouTube channel How Ridiculous at Point Walker Golf Club in February 2017. It was a putt of 395 FEET!

Famously, Olympic legend Michael Phelps holed a putt of 159ft at Kingsbarns during the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2012, recorded by the television cameras. Another golden achievement for the American.

The late broadcaster Terry Wogan famously holed a lengthy putt of around 100-ft at Gleneagles, but revered golf coach Dave Pelz had a moment of his own during a segment at Whistling Straits, when he incredibly sunk a putt from approximately 200-feet on camera.

How about this from the legendary Jack Nicklaus during an exhibition, showing Johnny Miller how it's done?

And for a professional golf incident, here is a 90-footer from Tiger Woods at Doral.

So, what is the longest putt that you’ve made or have seen holed?
