TaylorMade P790 Review
TaylorMade Golf have announced an addition to the successful P700-series iron lineup. The all new P790 irons will join the family and offer golfers the most forgiveness of the 4 models available. With a bladed look the hollow costruction of the P790 promises forgiveness and power as well as the great lines that are favoured by better players
The P790 features a soft, 8620 carbon steel body combined with a high-strength forged 4140 carbon steel WrapFace in a hollow body design. This is desih=gned to generate additional ball speed while not compromising on feel. The face is supported by 'Speedfoam' and innovaion from TaylorMAde that not only supports the face, but also delivers great sound.
The P790 face is an ultra-thin 1.75mm face thickness with re-engineered Inverted Cone Technology optimised for the slightly smaller face area. TaylorMade have also incorporated tungsten into the P790 which moves the centre of gravity more to the middle of the face and lower down to hit a pre-defined flight window.
