Golfshake Review
There has been much hype around this product, so when I got my hands on the new C2, I headed straight out onto the golf course to put it to the test!
Looks
As with all the PowaKaddy range the C2 looks great! PowaKaddy have really upped their game in recent years and those big bulky frames are now a thing of the past, replaced with sleek lines and a premium look. I really like the new dark grey finish and the way that was offset by the PowaKaddy yellow, especially as that yellow highlited adjustablity and folding points on the trolley The soft touch handels and display look premium as well. All in all an eyecatching trolley.
Usbality
By far and away the biggets benefit of this trolley is the ease at which it folds up and down. The engineering behind producing a compact trolley is notoriously difficult to get right and to be honest PowaKaddy have absolutely nailed it with this one. It was very easy and intuitive to fold up and down from the very first time I used it.
In terms of performance, it matched all the expectations I had, the inclusion of lithium batteries is a huge plus and really makes life a lot easier. The plug in play system is super simple and not having wires is a bonus, although switching the battery on and off is a bit annoying.
The motors on the Powakaddy range are now hugely powerful, you really notice it, put the speed dial on 9 and you will be hanging on for dear life! This does however mean that you have loads of power to head through thick rough and up even the steepest of hills.
The widescreen colour display is also a nice addition and made keeping track of speed that much easier.
Pros
The folding process and the size when folded down. Stroke of genius from PowaKaddy with the mechanism!
Cons
It does not feel as robust as other trolleys. This is because of the additional fold points, but you are aware of it.
The Bottom Line
A super offering from PowaKaddy and true innovation from a company that is now upping it's game. The trolley delivers everything you need on the course and folds down super small. Having tried other compact trolleys on the market, I loved the folding system. Hats off to the Powakaddy engineers for creating something so intuitive.
