Michael Phelps' 159ft Putt at the Dunhill Links

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 04 Oct 2016

He won an extraordinay record of 23 Olympic Gold Medals, but surely Michael Phelps' crowning achievement came during the 2012 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, when he holed a remarkable 159ft putt at Kingsbarns.

Drawing memories of a similar effort from the late Terry Wogan decades previously, the American showed that the amatuers aren't there just to make up the numbers. Could we see something similar during this week's edition of the links showpiece from the Home of Golf?
