Motocaddy S3 PRO Review
Founded a decade ago, Motocaddy bring the very best in design, build and functionality to golfers young and old looking for a reliable and affordable golf trolley. It was also Motocaddy who led the drive towards Lithium as the most efficient and cost-effective battery option for powered golf trolleys.
This season’s range is their most comprehensive yet and includes the Motocaddy S3 PRO.

Looks
The S3 PRO looks great with the accompanying Motocaddy trolley bag to match the Alpine finish on the trolley and really does stand out from other trolleys on the market. The blue trims on the handle, wheels and buttons make this trolley an aesthetically pleasing one.
Usability
Simple and easy are two words that come up a lot when describing the usability of the S3 Pro. From setting up the trolley, to walking the fairways, this trolley really is hassle-free to use. The QUICKFOLD assembly will have you ready to walk the course in no time and it really couldn’t be much easier to set up. Your bag, whether it be a trolley, stand or tour bag, fits into the slots and the straps fit comfortably around the base and top of your bag for a secure fit. The battery slots in to the new streamlined battery tray with ease to have you ready to go in no time.
The trolley was at the perfect height for me and was comfortable on the hands thanks to the new soft-touch ergonomic handle. With nine speeds to choose from, it won’t be long until you find the perfect speed for you. The nine options also give you a little bit of a boost when you’re going up them sharp slopes.
After your round, the trolley is easy to fold down in a matter of a few clicks and it is reasonably compact so won’t take up too much room in the boot of your car.
Pros
It is the ease of use on top of its good looks that make this trolley stand out. It is stress-free to set up, simple to use and can really add to your golfing experience. The three distance measurements are also a neat feature on the S3 PRO and let you know how far you’ve walked the trolley during your round. This can often be a lot further than you expect.
Cons
There are maybe too many added extras that may not be worthwhile for everyone but then again, it shows that the trolley has been designed with every golfer in mind.
The Bottom Line
I believe the Motocaddy S3 PRO is the perfect trolley for any golfer. It is reliable, easy to set up and has a speed to suit all golfers. It looks good, especially if you combine it with a Motocaddy bag, and the two year warranty that comes with it shows that Motocaddy believe they have created an excellent trolley in the S3 PRO. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase an S3 PRO in future.
