Seve's Best Shot
With a young Billy Foster by his side, the legendary Seve Ballesteros found himself in contention at Crans-sur-Sierre during the European Masters, where he will always be remembered. Tied for the lead and facing a seemingly impossible second shot after a wayward tee shot positioned him amongst the trees, the Spaniard ignored the advice of his infuriated English caddie to defy the odds and play through the most narrow of gaps.
Naturally, he succeeded, somehow navigating the ball just short of the green in two. Foster was speechless, before the great man underlined his genius by chipping in for birdie to oush former Ryder Cup player Barry Lane right to the end.
24 years on, and six years following his untimely death, Seve's magic is entertainingly recalled by the now veteran caddie in this excellent interview.
