two gloves.
would it make a difference to wear two golves instead of one? or no glove? overall why do golfers even wear a glove?

An American pro uses 2 gloves quite succesfully. I wear a glove because it is more comfortable than without. Can't tell you much more than that. Perhaps it is a mental thing. If it feels right then it most probably is.

Phil Mickleson used 2 gloves in the rain at The Open last year.
The basis of wearing a glove on the left hand (for a right hander) is that is the hand that pulls the club round, right hand should just guide the club head through the ball.

As an experiment I practised without a glove on the range this morning.
Firstly, it felt weird, secondly my first finger on my left hand was pretty raw after about 25 shots so soon got the glove on.

I have always wornone golve, (never tried with two). A while ago I hit balls on the range without one but it felt like I might let go of the club!

If I try and hit a shot without a glove I really feel that I'm going to let go of the club.
I don't think I could ever play without one.
