Handicaps on Golfshake

Hi Folks,
I'm bouncing between 12 & 13 at the moment, but noticed that dropping to 12.5, it announces in my groups that my handicap is now 12. I was under the impression that the old boys on the East Fife coast dicate that handicaps are rounded up??
