Tiger - Still headline news
So Monday saw the aftermath of Europe winning back the Solheim Cup, Bill Haas winning the Fed-Ex cup and the Tour Championship and yet everyone was talking about the world number 50 hiring/stealing a new caddie.
Will his stigma ever go? Or does golf need Tiger Woods?

take your point adam but im not a fan of the media in it all...much like joey barton if tiger woods even pulls a face they will report it and hes a scapegoat for a lot now..dustin johnson was fine over the caddie affair,.,.not everything gets reported.....he made massive mistakes in his personal life..got rightly abused / career damaged for it but is now just another golfer on the comeback...he has the aura of his past as the likes of marradonna and cantona do in the footballing world...he should never lose respect in my opinion as a golfer he more than deserves it for his dedication and achievements...anyway....the press make the tiger saga drag and i think they play on it a bit because they havent got another massive figure in the name capable of generating such interest...this happens on a lesser scale with schumacher in the formula 1
i dont think golf needs tiger woods but i think the world media does...im a fan of tiger and id be interested in his games recovery....his mental game is shot....thats the only way yuo become a lesseer player overnight in my opinion...
