Cheers to the cgl lads for the invite and inclusion to round 1 of their "race to moor allerton" winter league...some top lads and good banter...cant make the 2nd round but will be at the 3rd..

does james keep cards? i wanted to track score on here but only marked stableford..i think i shot 86 but wouldnt mind clarifying.....drove pretty well but short game wasnt good enough..most shots into greens found bunkers...didnt give myself enough chances to score..

great fun course to play...greens werent great but was same for everyone...all in all had a great day...well done to rich garner..nice bloke in our four ball and he won with 38 points...thanks to andy and spenner also...

i meant to add..if anyone fancies some banter and competition format golf get involved with these guys...its formal enough to be very competitive but casual enough that if your out of it after 9 holes you can still enjoy it have a laugh and play for some nearest pins.... (maybe you will win 2 on your debut ) full range of handicappers are involved.....

Hi Gavin, I'm glad you had a good day. Post something on CGL to see if anyone has your card. Failing that Martin Millichip enters all cards into his laptop after all players are in so I'm sure one way or another you'll get your scores. I for one will not be wanting to see my card after six visits to the rough and four lost balls (not to memtion someone picking my ball up...again).

Well done Rich Garner for 38 points. Not bad going what with the greens and wind.
