Slowing it down

Posted by: user16742 | Thu 5th Jul 2007 12:30 | Last Reply

After having 2 god rounds i have slipped back into hitting the ball right and then i dufed a few.

So the last time i was out i&nb
sp;kept my driver in my bag for large parts of it and
tried&
nbsp;to keep on the fairways.

I've also tried to slow my swin
g down, and tried to make my takeaway really smooth.

I've lost
;some distance with this. Is this something i should be doing, or
 should i be keeping
the speed the same and try to work
;on something else to straighten it up?

Matt, just a little thought that might help you now that you are getting to a finish.

In order to get to the proper balanced finish in a golf swing one must have gone through the ball correctly, as it is impossible to get a balanced finish doing otherwise.

Just watch the pros and you will see what I mean as their finish tells you exactly where they have hit the ball, most of them hanging it out to the right. One of Tigers bad shots.

I was referring to the body language at the end of the swing.
