Farmer Country (glos)

Posted by: user246626 | Sat 13th Aug 2011 22:11 | Last Reply

I've been a member on here for a while now and havent seen anyone yet who lives in the area. Is there anyone on this site who lives in Gloucestershire and would be up for a round sometime?

Adam, our own Chris Perry now lives in Stroud and is a member at minchinhampton. I am sure he will make a comment soon.

I'll be playing this Friday Adam, teeing off around 2:00pm (no need to book).  Green fees are £25 per day if playing with a member

Anyone else who fancies playing is welcome to join in (weather looks good too)

Just looked at membership fees for juniors.  £91 for under 18's for 7 day unrestricted membership!!!  Same for students in full time education under the age of 29.  No wonder the course always has kids knocking about!!!

There are two sites too!!!  Make sure you go to the new courses.  The address is: -

  • Minchinhampton Golf Club, New Courses, Minchinhampton, Stroud, Glos. GL6 9BE

There are two courses at this site, the Avening and the Cherington.  The Cherington is the 2 ball course on Friday so we will be on there.  I've booked a 14:06 tee time

There's 2 nice courses in Coleford. There's forest Hills and the Bells. Not sure how far they are from Longhope. Both descent courses and reasonable green fees. If you ned someone to play with just send me a pm.
