I've had a few of my clubs 'customised', generally buying them off e-bay* (so it doesn't really matter what shaft is in it - senior, extra stiff, who cares?) just for the head alone.  Then decide which shaft you want and shop around, some you can get from places like golfgrips - direct or gamola golf, but expensive driver shafts are generaly best found just by trawling the net.  I picked up two brand new Aldilla DVS60 - R shafts for £90 (RRP £110 each) and got my brother to bring me a couple over from the States on his last visit which cost $55 the pair off a US e-bay shop.  Fitting was about £15 and a grip is a couple of pounds on top.

* My driver is a Ben Hogan Big Ben CS3 with an Aldilla DVS60 - R shaft fitted. It originally had a really stiff Aldilla NV-H 70 - S. Total cost under £100 including fitting and grip.
