The Online Golf Company - WARNING

I don't post on here ften (this may even be my first time) - but do look around the site and take note of course reviews etc. It is also not really in my nature to post negative comments about companies...I understand that sometimes things don't go to plan and I can generally accept outcomes.
HOWEVER, I have taken great exception to the service I have received from the Online Golf Company, and wanted to give you all a heads up, or to find this really was a one-off and I was simply unlucky.
In Brief:-
- I organised a very small weekend away with 5 golfing mates to Meon Valley (Very highly recommend this course)
- Wanted to do something extra so ordered some engraved trophies. These turned up and were perfect.
- Also ordered 1 dozen Nike Crush Ball with a picture on and 20 tees with a simple 2 line inscription.
- The balls and tees were ordered from The Online Golf Company on 14th May......as yet I have not received anything from them, though they did take payment on the day of order.
- On the Website it boasts most orders will be dispatched within 48 hrs - however if the order is large (4 Doz balls +) or peak season (may is not) then it may take up to 10 working days.
- My weekend was 3 weeks after the date of order (4th June) - well after their stated worse case terms.
- Of course - that has come and gone.....and the order will now of course have lost its impact should it ever turn up.
- Being an online company, there is no phone number. I have so far sent approx 12 mails (all polite) to the customer services dept,
- To date I have rec'd 1 reply - on the 2nd June, stating the balls had just turned up (3 weeks to get 1 doz!!) and they would be with me early the week commencing 6th june.
- I asked for the tees to be sent separately as the "progress" section of their website said they were ready on the 24th May.
So, a month later, well past the date I intended to use the goods - and the website says now "Order delayed, due to be shipped Monday" - this was dated last Friday!! I am still to receive anything......
Any kind of information would have allayed most of my anger, but to have no response, from an internet based company....and to take so long over an order which should have taken no more than 2 days is simply not acceptable.
Apologies for the length of this "rant". While it may have only been a small issue - for the 6 of us it would have added a lot more to the weekend.
So, please be warned about this company. Maybe this s a one-off.....but for the first time I have really felt the need to put into words how felt.

Some On-line companies are run from what I call a 'back-bedroom' and your order is passed on, so making them 'Agents'. I have a rule that I will not deal with anyone who can'r provide a addresslocation from which they operate.
