Just had a tweet from my old boss who is best friends with the owner there, they are offering FREE golf tomorrow after 12pm.
Just thought I'd let you all know.

Used to play there a bit but last I heard was that the course was in a bad way. Apparently they had a run in with some local travellers who decided payback was needed. Oil on the greens, churned up fairways etc was the result

My boss is friend with the owner there, they did have trouble, it wasnt travellers but a family member.
To be fair i played there when it was in a terrible way and it wasnt nice, been back twice recently and the green are in perfect condition. I'd defo recomend a visit.
In fact, played there today.
