Anyone know if Golfshake Handicap Cards are accepted at Remedy Oak Golf Club??

I would think it unlikely as their website stipulates "official handicap certificate".

I would also think it unlikely having played there a couple of years ago.
If you give the secretary or the pro a call in advance to say that you have let your club membership lapse for some reason ( money, children, time etc) then they may let you play without an official handicap.
I am not advocating the use of white lies to get on, but if it works then so be it.
The only caviet that i would add would be that it is not the easiest course and that you would have to be prepared to let others play through at all times.
If your handicap is indeed 28 then you may need to play easier more approachable clubs than Remedy until you can get it down.
Dont be put off by the request for official handicaps only, but also remember that the members pay large subscriptions to play on a great course without being held up by green fees

You can find our golf handicap acceptance FAQ here: http://www.golfshake.com/services/platinum-account-faq/
generally the majority do and recognise Golfshake/Golfscoretracker handicaps but some older clubs still only accept club handicaps below 24 and open club competitions as a rule generally stipulate official club handicaps because by design these are for club members however more clubs are open in open club comps.
For a list last year of the old courses that will or will not accept Golfshake handicaps check out: http://www.golfshake.com/news/view/1376/Will_clubs_accept_the_golfshake_com_handicap.html
