Wrong shaft type?

Posted by: user16106 | Fri 29th Apr 2011 23:19 | Last Reply

Here is a question I think sanders would be able to answer but anyone with a view is welcome. I have had dozens of drivers all the brands nike, callaway, Tm etc, etc. Always bought 2nd hand and never been measuered or had a club fitted. I dont know my club speed or even if its fast or slow. I will buy a driver and try it for a few rounds. If it works il keep it for a while if it dont i will sell it on. What would be the consiquence of a totally wrong shaft even though one may think the club is working for oneself? Has anyone thought their club was fine and advised to replace the shaft and got miraculous results?

Makes loads of sense Sanders. Its funny how we read a lot in all the mags about the big companys new drivers but not too many in my opinion about shafts. You seem to think they are alot more important than advertising would suggest. A very indepth veiw of the science behind shafts. Cheers.
