The times they are a changing....

At last!!!...... After 3-4 years of my club handicap going upwards, 0.1 at a time, I have finally posted a net 67 in a medal comp. on my home course today. This after scoring 37pts Stableford at Newport (Rogerstone) last Thursday and coming 3rd in my very competitive bash on Friday. Perhaps things are changing.

The only odd thing about the round today was that I posted no birdies or double bogies - i.e. just made fewer mistakes, perhaps there's a message there. To score well just don't make as many mistakes rather than play like a pro....

I just had to share this - it has been a long time coming.
