Masters and favourite shot

Posted by: user340319 | Mon 11th Apr 2011 09:03 | Last Reply

How good was that final day as far as good honest to god no holds barred golf  goes, mistakes aplenty, amazing shots on virtually every hole, drama right up to the last pair coming back in.  Does anyone have a favourite shot from the four days, mine personally was Luke Donalds chip in on the 18th yesterday, i thought that shot summed the whole week up perfectly.  Who dares wins. Unfortunatley Luke didnt win but his have a go attitude was spot on.

I have to agree with Colin, Luke's chip in at the last was fantastic as i had him each way and he needed to birdie that hole to get inside the top 6, thanks Luke £££££.

I hope Mcilroy gets a chance to win a tournament pretty soon, so he can get back to playing great golf, its a pity but the one weakness in his game has always been his putting and if your feeling the pressure and not too confident with your stroke the Augusta greens will destroy you, maybe he should should take a few lessons of Luke because if he dose start to putt well to go with his driving and ball striking he will definitely win a major soon....

I thought Tiger's 278 yard 3-wood was an amazing shot.  Nice to see him playing a bit more like the way we know he can.

Schwartzel made a couple of lovely shots too though - the chip in early on and his second shot for eagle.

I couldn't believe how close it was right up to the end.  Having four or five players tied for the lead on Sunday afternoon in a Major was excellent.  Well done to Charl for managing four birdies on the trot to finish, talk about holding your nerve.
