The Masters
Who will win the first major of the year at the Masters, the top 3 favourites are Woods,Mickleson,Westwood in that order, personally i wouldn't back any of them 3 as they are all struggling with their game at the moment. I think this is the most open major we have had in years and its hard to pick a winner but i do fancy having a tenner each way on luke Donald at 25-1 as you need to have a good short game, especially with the putter and Donald has, i think he is one of the best bunker players on either tour and now he has won a WGC his confidence should be high.

Luke Donald is a very good shout at them odds.
It wont be one of the big 3 at the top IMO.
I couldnt honestly pick from anyone up to some of the guys at 100/1 on here http://www.paddypower.com/bet/golf/us-masters?ev_oc_grp_ids=29362

Sanders
I think Rose has a good chance as anyone,Fowler also has been playing well lately, but if i had to pick an American i would go for nick Watney, not just because of his recent win of a WGC but he has finished in the top ten 5 out of his last 6 tournaments, he also putts well, i think he could be the danger man to the Europeans. Its all about the putting and how hard and fast the greens will be.

I wouldn't rule out Westwood, i know hes had a slow start to the season but dont forget experience is a must at Augusta and lee should have won last year were it not for the brilliance of Mickleson on the last day, having said that Ive had £5 each way on Kim at 50-1 hes odds have been cut to 33-1 now hes leading the Shell Houston, but i would love a European winner again, like the good old days of Faldo, Lyle, Woosnam and Olazabal.

I'm Nottingham based so would love Westwood to do it, just not quite sure if he's got the final agressive competitive edge needed. Hope he makes me eat my words though!
I know others have said Donald doesn't have the distance but I think someone like Luke who's nice and steady could have a good shot.
Watney's a good pick but I fancy an Englishmen this year or some unknown German

Westwood is finding his form, so you can't count him out, Donald is steady and no hole is 'out of reach in regulation' to him, though it is harder to keep a ball on those greens when your hitting a 3iron in, as against an 8iron. Harrington is also getting back to form, G-Mac can't be counted out either, and McIlroy is due a good week.
Mickleson has a brillient record at Augusta, Stricker seems to be getting his putting back, Watney and Bubba Watson are playing well at the moment..
Lets hope that come Sunday we have a handfull of guys who can win and it goes to the wire, so GOLF wins.

Looks like i spoke to early about Mickleson not playing that well, what a fantastic round of golf yesterday at the Shell Houston, its also been designed to play similar to Augusta so Mickleson has found some form at the right time. I'm still backing luke Donald though and if i had to pick an American i would go for Nick Watney as he is better value than Mickleson.

Im having a tenner on Mickelson, Woods, Westwood in the top 3, second and third place not necessarily in that order. Come on Lefty!
