English Weather!!!
Well I arrived home from our Portugal trip and apart from my feet (Blisters) everything was fine in the world.
Then I started back at work, then onto my first round of golf since getting back.
Clothed right up, wooly hat, the lot, not quite the same as Portugal.
Then, yesterday a mate and I turned up at Staverton Park for the first event in this year's GTour calendar. It was cold, but dry and the course was in a good condition. Shot an 87 in my practice round. And that was despite working nights the night before and staying up all day.
Got up at 7am this morning only to find it raining and the wind is blowing a bit!!!
The forecast says the rain should clear around 11am which just happens to be the time I'm due to tee off, let's keep all our fingers and toes crossed (except when swinging a club!).
The Algarve has knackered up my putting stroke. Went over there to fast greens and now I've come back I'm leaving everything short! It was amazing how quickly I adapted to the faster greens but coming back to these slower greens is a little bit more difficult!
I'll have to hit the practice putting green this morning and try and sort it out.

I could take offence to those comments, but I'm much bigger than that! http://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.gif" title="laugh" width="20" />
Having really enjoyed my time in the 'Exotic location' I'm so chilled it's unbelievable.
I am hoping for third time lucky for this year's North v South event, where I will be playing for the North.
Stay calm, chill out and enjoy...... http://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.gif" title="wink" width="20" />

We have played a round of golf together and it was an enjoyable experience.
I do not take offence to much that is written on forums, having been on them a while it is amazing how many times people take what it written the wrong way!
Some of the stuff you say about Stuart is so wrong, he did not have a bad word to say about you when we were in Portugal. In fact, he could not wait to text you if I remember correctly.
When I have sorted out my diary I will be driving up to Stuart for a quick round (well, less than 6 hours) on his local course.

Stuart, we'll have to sort a round of golf at your place once the weather gets a bit better.

I'd be happy to join Stuart in 'Whooping the asses' of these two upstarts.
Smooth Swing Govan and Mishit Middleton will be a match for the pair of you.
I'll book the buggy for John and Dave, making sure one of the wheels has a bleb in it! http://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.gif" title="laugh" width="20" />
We'll have to wait until the weather clears up a little bit, I'd hate to have to watch John explain to Dave the best technique for getting a buggy out of the mud!!! http://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.gif" title="laugh" width="20" />http://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.gif" title="laugh" width="20" />

David, that is my kind of scorecard.
Give me a few practice rounds and I'll soon be going around there under 50 shots!
I'll have to be careful when I team up with Stuart, he appears to be ready for the fight (sorry, meant round of golf!)
