Guest post from Kevin Hill of The Urban Golfer.  he first 3 weeks of the PGA and European Tours we have seen both Camilo Villegas and Padraig Harringon get disqualified for rules violations that were brought to the attention of the rules committees (USGA and R&A) by TV viewer call in’s. What other sport can this happen in?

I agree no. What happens if some one spots an infringement by the winner of a comp, in the highlights program the next day, when the winner is on a plane to his next tournament, or at the next tournament do you disqualify him then,  you could I suppose say that if the infringement is brought to the attention of the officials before the end of the round then maybe, but I still see it as unfair because not all players will be watched by the cameras. Which puts the filmed players at a dissadvantage maybe only small, but is not then, the same for all.
