Hole in One

Posted by: user11501 | Mon 17th Jan 2011 15:14 | Last Reply

Played in the January Club mixed yesterday on a very blustery Mapperley. Because the 10th hole is out of commission at the moment for some alterations we have been playing the 12a hole which is a par 3 148yds from an elevated tee which is situated in front of the 13th tee.

Wind was strong from left to right and a pot ish bunker at the front of the green. I hit a good 7 iron left of the hole and the wind brought it back and it pitched just over the bunker on the green and rolled towards the flag. The usual shouts of "get in" were heard and then the ball disappeared into the hole !!!!!

This is my second hole in one after having one a few years ago on the eigth at Mapperley also.
