Steel or Graphite
Just after some advise chaps, what do people find better, steel or graphite shafts?
I currently have graphite stiff shafts on all clubs (1W, 3,4,5H, 4,5,6,7,8,9,P,S) and they seem to be ok for me, but i do have a fairly quick swing and wondered whether I'd find steel shafts give more distance.
Accuracy isn't too much of a problem at the moment (certianly not the shafts fault when i turn an iron over) but i know a few mates have moved to steel recently and just wanted to gather opinions.

Switching to a steel shaft would generally reduce distance. The softer the shaft the more kick and extra distance you would achieve, people switch to stiffer shaft to increase accuracy as they may give you a tighter dispersion rate.
If you have no problems with accuracy I would stick with what you have. There is another thread going on at the minute to do with shaft stiffness it may be worth having alook at that one as well for some info.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but the way I understand it is harder shafts i.e. steel will help with accuaracy but not travel as far whereas softer graphite shafts offer more distance but the displacement can be wider.
