Help me with societies

Hi everyone , looking for some help ! Having been playing for a year now ,having fallen in love with the game, all I want to do is play but finding regular people to play with is becoming a problem with work. So I decided to join a society but havnt got a clue on how to join and am struggling to find out how to find out about societies in my area. I live in the Southend area of Essex , please don't hold it against me lol, hopefully someone will be able to help me many thanks simon harris.

I think Russ Middleton maybe your man.  Runs a golf society in your area I think which other Golfshakers take part in and posts events on here from time to time.
