I've played a couple of the courses that they are selling, and they are good courses.

Having spoken to a few other Crown golf members it appears that some of the courses I haven't played are very nice and well worth playing.

It will be interesting to see how much, or how quickly they can sell these courses.

just spoke to the wife she says it's a goer, I'm just going to raid the overdraft. Any idea how much I'm going to need?

Roger

Have played your course a couple of times as  a member from another Crown course and it was only when it was up on the list to be sold I realised it was Pay and Play, can't comment on the beneifts but it was certainly a good track and in my opinion better than one of the other members clubs close to you (Wickham Park).

Russ' comment above probably references my surprise that they were letting this one go. The others that I am surprised at are South Essex, again a great course could easily be switched to a members club in my opinion and also Pryford which was a nice members club and the fact it shares facilities with a pay and paly is the same situation as our own club, I just guees they must be making too much money out of us to let it go!

Have not played all of the other pay as you play courses about 50% of them and these 2 stand out for me as more like member clubs for the quality than the others, (Chelsfield apparently had Ian Poulter as assistant pro for a while)
