longer irons

hi, really struggling with my longer irons, 6,5 and 4 irons,  very hit and miss

brought some mizuno mx 100 about 6 weeks ago, i like them but feel im not getting the best use out of them, seem to hit the 7iron lovely

 only been playing two years have improved so much since april but need to crack these longer irons

ive tweeked my swing a little bit this year but lack consistency

Just swing the 6,5 and 4 iron with the same tempo that you use for the 7 iron.

I too have experienced similar problems, seem to drive okay but my approach to the greens is very hit and miss... I regularly put myself in birdie positions only to come up short with my long irons onto the green.
