club fitting amazing!!!!
i have just returned from a club fitting session at a local club to once and for all sort out the correct everything for me with no guessing! i recently tried the mizuno dna system which suggested i need the equivelent to project x 7.0 shafts. i currently play mizuno mp 52's with dg s300 shafts. i 1st tried these at the fitting and everything felt superb but my ball spin was around 6400-6900 with an average club speed of 94 mph with a 6 iron. i then tried several differnt shafts with the same head and no improvement, i also tried ping s56's,r 9's and several others. i then tried the "mp 58" with the dg s300 shaft and the spin dropped to 4200-4500 club head speed averaging 98mph according to the computer. i was hitting a 6 iron on average over 180 yds which i find an unbelievable difference just from a head change. i have also learnt that i need my heads 2 degree upright. So to sum it all up im off to buy a set of mp58's and sell both of my other sets. and cannot believe how i never did this before i purchased all that i have in the past.....

It does sound like you've found a set of clubs that you really like.
When I bought my first set of proper golf clubs (Yonex) I bought them from American Golf.
Did the fitting and everything and I was really pleased with them.
First round out I knocked about eight shots off my best score at Risebridge GC in Romford.
It does make a difference having the golf clubs fitted to your swing.
During the summer months I went upto the Mizuno National Fitting Center and tried out some of their clubs.
I'm now the proud owner of some MP-68s with the Project X Rifle shafts (5.5).
When I play golf now and I catch the ball just right it gives me the most incredible feedback, although the odd bad shots I hit just don't do anything!
Enjoy your clubs.

which shafts did you go for in the end shane ?
I took the projectx 5.5's in my jpx pro's but the kbs seemed a nice shaft on the 53's
