my 1st eagle!!!

I recently played a round of golf at a marriot golf course locally to me which i had never layed before on the eve of my wedding with my best man. Things started bad with a 7 on the 1st hole and then proceeded to get better and i finished the front 9 with 42 on the card (which is good for me). We were playing the 11th hole when a stray ball just missed my partner by about 1 foot with no shout from either player on the next tee, they did not even appologise on the way past?? We approched the tee they were on and they were still on the green which was a 305 yard par 4. I teed up my ball and thought to myself ill just play this towards the green and shout "four" to show them what manners our. I then lined up my drive and struck it perfectly but could not see quite how far the ball was travelling so i shouted four just to prove a point. As i did this the 2 players on the green parted to either side of the flag and i just thought they had finished. My collegue played his shot and layed up short. The other players left the green and we proceeded to the green only to find my ball 1ft past the hole. I putted for an eagle and we caught up with the other 2 only for them to tell me the ball lipped the hole and passed to one side. I was well chuffed with this  an it became my 1st eagle only to be followed by a 70 yd pitch of a second shot on a par 4 to land 3 inches from the hole. i finished the round with a score of 82 and a perfect start to married life!!!!!
