Trilby Tour Finals
Wow! what a couple of great finals. The amateur event was buzzing and everyone enjoyed the experience. If you want a piece of the action in 2011 better sign up now http://www.williamhunttrilbytour.com
The pro event was a little muted compared with the ams, probably because I didn't make the playoffs (a very average level par) not good enough. 2 European Tour players made the playoffs along with a couple of south region players, and what a playoff it was too. Coverage starts on the 16th August on Sky Sports 2 7pm.
Yours truly was on the panel covering the playoff, so at least I got a little TV exposure, can't wait for the footage.

I'm not sure if he's qualified for the GS Open or not Adam

According to my records his name is not currently down Dave.
Only a couple of qualifiers left Steve!!

Dave Ley had to rely on someone giving up their place so Steve might be right up against it

hey congrats for entering! i've now entered....d'oh! i play off 18 so only just managed to get in for August 2011. I'm really worried as I play off 18 and the way things are going at the moment on the course I think i may cancel. you know tv cameras and crowds watching you, well from what I've seen on tv. Do you think I should just go for it? or hold off practice more and more lessions with your experience what do you think?

One of the lads from our club (Gorsty Hill, Crewe) won the East of England event. He took some stick in the club house for being a celebrity!
"James, can I have your autograph?"
