Lyth, Of course I hit the shaft as did everyone else in my group, and those in front of us.

On reflection I am quite sure that with a little practice I could manage to adjust my swing to hit the ball, but it would take an enormous amount of practice to hit it as well as Jeremy does.

JP  Im suprised you didnt realise that you should have addressed the ball about 6" higher as your hands will always swing lower, same on the course if you are playing off a bank way above your feet,something im use to  .I suspect you havn't come across it before.

Why should you be surprised, Leyo, just because you have not yet qualified for the Golfshake Open finals, does not mean you can extract the mickey.

Don't forget you play off tees this high normally.
