Golfshake Open - East Midlands Qualifier

Dear All,

Entries for this event are now closed and we currently have 30 players confirmed. Only two players have not paid their final payments and they have until 5pm Monday to do so. They know who they are and have been sent a reminder PM and I will issue no further reminders.

Should they not pay then I will try and fill those two spots via those who are on my waiting list, before tee times are published on Tuesday AM.

I too, like Chris Perry who is organising the West Mids Qualifier am dismayed at the lack of appreciation of people who register for these events and just do not make any payments when required or even look at their PM's.

We as organisers have to take quite a firm rule on deadlines for payments etc as we have further responsibilities to the clubs we play at to confirm numbers especially if there is catering requirements involved.

Darren, maybe it is time to see some sort grading system to those players who register and then just ignore correspondence, who maybe taking a place away from someone who genuinely wants to play. 

On a lighter note may I thank all those players who have confirmed their places at the event and paid in full and you will all enjoy the course and the day I hope.
