First round today

Posted by: user317447 | Sun 11th Jul 2010 19:52 | Last Reply

Hi lads

just started playing golf today after a few years off

joined local club and had first game today never had handicap and just always played for fun back in the day so decide to get out now and play a lot more.

played at playsport east kilbride little 9 hole links course

nice little course lots of bunkers and big greens short, but hard

couse is a par 64

first 9  i took 49 then back 9 got down to 42 overall 91 (not bad as wet and windy)

was wondering if any one could answer i few question

can you use your scorecard for handicap if you go round yourself or do you need someone to mark your score

also who does medals work

cheers lads  any help would be grateful

Welcome Derek , ultimately we are responsable for our own Hcp,but as you have joined a club you will require 3 cards signed by a fellow member , but if in doubt speak to your club sec/pro,

Not bad gof by the way
