A reminder of the past

Today, I had the good fortune to play golf, ins a fourball at the Army Goilf Club, Aldershot.

It has been along while since I have played a club where they operated separate tee times for 2 balls and 3/4 balls. With an 1100am start we  had to play from the 10th tee as our first hole.

We played the whole round as if we were the only players on the course. A lovely relaxed round on a nice day and on a great course.

If only my club would do this and prevent 2 balls in amongst 3/4 balls, which cause so much friction for both groups of players.
