9 maybe 10 clubs ?

Posted by: user83555 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Sat 3rd Jul 2010 23:03 | Last Reply

Been to the U S of A many times but come Nov/Dec this year for

the first time will be taking my own clubs - but not a full set

if I take 10 what would you have as the mix ?

me ? 5.7.9, PW,LW, Driver,rescue,putter, 7Wood and either 3/5 Wood

it would be interesting to have your guys thoughts on this one ?

I wouldnt bother with all the woods, just a rescue, driver, putter, 5 7 9 pw sw lw.

the 7 wood is similar to the rescue, and I would give up the long game for the short game, especially as you get a shot at every hole. if you take 10 clubs then include the 5 wood.

Having taken my clubs over a couple of times. I use the golf bag as 2nd suitcase and use that for my underwear & such. This  leaves space in my main case

Mark - exactly

on flights Golf baggage is an allowable commodity - the whole reason for taking less

than the full set is because with the women you have to allow room somewhere for those additional presents and the idea is you sneak them in to your Golf baggage

and that my friends is why I will not be taking the full set !  i.e. A mini golf bag

in a maxi golf carrier !

Where abouts are you going Colin?

I used to live in the States for a couple of years and could recommend some places?
