its been a long time coming

i played in the grassmoor open yesterday and shot a sub 80 round something i havnt done in a very long time

since playing a little more regularly thanks to golfshake events and county golf league (www.countygolfleague.com) my scores have been staedily improving and my general all round game has as well

although this is the bit that gets me

in my game yesterday i did the 1st nine holes in a gross +1 over par with a penalty shot for being in a water hazard and also taking 3 from the side of the par3 3rd green only 12ft from the hole, then disaster struck as on the back nine a hit dbl bogey, dble bogey, bogey, bogey, triple bogey before then going back to par, par, bogey, and birdie on the last

it left me leaving the course with mixed emotions on a round that simply was a round that could have been, i feel i left at least 6 shots out there

still onward and hopfully upward, ready to take on the challenge of whichever course i play next
