What Happened
So I've been plugging on with my lessons and getting really consistant with my irons. My putting has come together nicely and chipping has also improved. My driver still needs nailing down but even that was much better last time out. My scores don't feel to have been coming down, but I've not been worried about that as I'm sure it will come as I'm striking the ball better and making better decisions. Until today...........
I started my warm up as usual with my over weighted club to find the groove of my swing, then started hitting balls in the net. The first couple went nicely and then something strange happend. I could not seem to hit a ball, or work out why it was happening. I went onto the course thinking that it might change but it didn't.
Either: -
a) someone disguised an old cricket bat as my golf clubs
b) I went to sleep right handed and woke up left handed, or
c) I've never actually played golf before, it was all a figment of my imagination!!!
So what do you think happend?
Anyway - tomorrows another day!

Brain fade, happens to all of us at one time or another. I had it once playing at Wokefield - stood on the tee with my 3 wood in my hand and I might as well have been trying to swing a fish.

I had the same last week Matt. I completly lost my rythym and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it back. My short game deserted me. My ball was allergic to the hole. All this two rounds after shooting a personal best.
It's why we love this game. If we were all consistent all of the time, nobody would have heard of Tiger Woods

It is very frustrating though - especially as you are trying to get youre consistency together and youre handicap to drop.
Keep at it - as you say tomorrow is another day! Things will improve and you'll forget about youre awful game when you have a good one again!!
