oh hi

Just a quick hello.......

Hello!

er.... been attempting to play once a week for the last 6 years, not a member of any clubs atm as I've recently moved from South Leicester to North Leicester and was playing varied semi-private courses with friends. I'm now looking to join a local course (Rushcliffe) with a bit of luck and play at least twice a week.

Downside is that I've left my old friends and golfing buddies on the other side of the county so will be looking to join somewhere with Billy (Knomates) and Jack (Chones).

Any of you guys a member or know of any members in my area? Loughborough / Shepshed Leicesterhsire

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers,

Jay

Hi Jay, welcome to the site.

Not that I play very often but I'm close to J25 of the M1 so not to far away if you ever fancy a round.

Regards, Darren.

In the case of Darren, in the trees.  In the case of Tim, usually from just beyond the ladies tee for his second shot

Oooh you cat, Perry.  I'll have you know I hit 320 yd drive the other day that landed on the correct fairway.  OK, so it was downhill with a screaming tail wind, but I took it.

Jay.  Not a member anywhere, tend to play most of my golf with the County Golf League up North Notts/Yorkshire way, but am always open for a knock closer to home on the weekends when there isn't a game.  Not played Rushcliffe, looks good if a little expensive for non-members, and it's only 12 miles form where I live.

Still lots of courses round this area though, whereabouts do you live?

We ought to join up for a knock at Breedon then Jay, that's about half-way between us.  Not a spectacular course, greens are sometimes a bit slow but an enjoyable enough venue - especially as you can get it for £12 through teeofftimes.co.uk*.  I'm self-employed (apparently) so am also pretty flexible on times.
