What a good week!
I've played 5 times in the last 7 days and have had a mini breakthrough.
Today I shot my lowest score of 86, with my most pars and only my third birdy! - though I had 4 other birdy 'chances' I didn't finish off, but a good sign none the less
and in the last three rounds I have not exceeded 36 putts.....with today being 32.....and that was with 5x3 putts !
Today I was using a set of old Hogan irons that are my back-up set as my normal clubs are being fitted to me. Considering I'd never played a round with these clubs I did ok.....the 5 iron I found to be very good as was the EW. I put my good score down to my pitching and chipping coming along nicely and my now trusty Hogan 60deg which is proving to be quite accurate and getting more consistant all the time.
Also my new putter is really starting to click
Oh and my H/C has come down over 2 shots in these seven days.....Now next week my h/c will most likely start going north again!

Good to see you're improving Lewis. I had a mini break through this week getting a birdie on two new holes at my local course and in the process having my first round with two birdies on the card.

It's great to hear of all you golfers playing so well, let's hope it continues and your handicap continues to come down.

Great times eh Lewis.
Even me - Andy '24' Kenyon - am having a purple patch. Managed a best equalling 91 last Monday to drop handicap 0.8 and then again today on a par 67 managed an 86 for 40 points with another 1.6 drop.
Handicap now resides at 21.5. Long may it last and hopefully continue to fall....
